A note sent by the board of directors to the heads of the health unit, cited by Lusa, states that, “for reasons of a personal nature, Dr. Diana Sousa Mendes, executive member with the role of clinical director for the hospital area of ULS Amadora-Sintra, presented the request to cease exercising the position she had been holding”.

The ULS administration will immediately begin the process of replacing the Hospital Clinical Director, “seeking to ensure the greatest possible speed in this procedure”. Until the process is completed, Diana Sousa Mendes will remain in office.
