The Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) would like to thank you for all your support and commitment to our organization and our mission to find the cure for lupus. Your personal contributions have helped move lupus research to a higher level and one day we will find the cure for lupus and its complications.
 
The ALR wants to make sure that all our supporters are well informed about this new opportunity and the changes that have taken place within our Walk program. Our National Board of Directors are continually evaluating the best use of staff and administrative resources, and as a result, the Walk in Long Island will be merged with the New York City Walk, this fall.

This will allow all of our supporters in Long Island (and in the metro area) to Walk at our largest fundraising and awareness event Walk, which raised over $760,000 for lupus research in 2010. Share our goal raising $1-million in 2011!
 
The New York City Walk will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011.  Come join thousands of ALR supporters in the New York metro area and join our quest for a cure!

We truly appreciate your ongoing support of the ALR and our mission to someday, Prevent...Treat...and Cure lupus. We will get there through your generous contributions and support.  You DO make a difference in the lives of people affected by lupus.
